Week Highlights
What a week! We appreciate your patience and being accommodating with the pool issues. The pool is back in business and hopefully will not run of out chlorine in the near future. Thank you to The Curtis family for hosting the team dinner, The Mayer’s for breakfast, and to McCallum, Bell and Harris families for providing treats for the Saturday meet. The meet that was cancelled against Syracuse will NOT be rescheduled this swim season.
Recall this week is our last fundraiser – let us make it big $$$, bring your family for dinner at Costa Vida on Monday. There is a prize for the swimmer who brings in the most customers!
Some of you may have heard about the UHSAA deciding to change the boundaries for our region for the next school year. This places East and Highland in Region 5 with schools to our north such as Box Elder in Brigham City– what does this mean? It means longer commuter times and more time away from school for ALL student athletes, it also takes away the friendly inner-city competition. We highly encourage all you to review these changes and attend the meeting on Wednesday, December 5th at 630pm at Jordan High School in Sandy. For those of you with Juniors or Seniors on the team you may recall this occurred a few years ago and less than ideal. UHSAA 2019 Realignment UHSAA Press Release

12/6 Away Meet verses Highland bus leaves at 215pm swimmers excused at 2pm
12/8 Team Holiday Party (invite attached) bring your Nerf Gun, Warm Shoes and Wrapped White Elephant Gift – Parents are encouraged to attend ~ come participate in the nerf gun battle!
12/11 HOME Meet at East verses Skyline SENIOR NIGHT!
Swimmers
- Costa Vida on Foothill Monday, December 3rd in lieu of our team dinner!! Flyer attached please place on social media! There is a challenge – the swimmer who brings in the most customers will win an Amazon gift card!
- Max will have an All team meeting Monday prior to the start of practice.
- Holiday Party on Saturday 6-9pm
- The Nerf gun battle will be OUTSIDE – dress accordingly – the Mayer’s have dogs – they will pick up the poo but they may miss a dropping so wear washable shoes such as boots just in case you step in the wrong place.
- Bring your Nerf Gun and Wrapped White Elephant Gift
